- Guillaume the Conqueror’s castle at Falaise (22.5 km from Boissey)
It was in this castle perched on a rocky headland that Guillaume, Duke of Normandy, conqueror and King of England (Hastings, 1066) was born in 1027. The fifteen-tower walls date to the 13th century.
